The 3rd annual Invention Convention Singapore Open Nationals will be held as a virtual competition with more than 150 finalists from across the country showcasing their inventions that solve problems facing our world. Student Registration opens August 1, 2021 and closes October 1, 2021.
IDE Academy hosted the second annual Invention Convention Singapore Nationals from 16-20 November 2020. In 2020, more than 100 young inventors from Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam met virtually over a mixed-reality platform to showcase their inventions.
Congratulations to Ritvik and Varun from Changkat Changi Secondary School and Howe Run from PCF Sparkletots. In 2019, Ritvik and Varun won the Global Impact Originality award at the U.S. Nationals - International Showcase. They invented the "Eativo" self-heating lunch box.
Children are the future. Their ideas and their actions will shape the world as we know it, and it is our duty to their generation to guide them in their journey of discovery and innovation.
Brian Hing, 6-year old in 2020 from PAP Community Foundation had difficulty looking for his small toys under the bed. He invented SpiBri, a spider with multiple legs where each could provide a unique function to help him locate, identify and retrieve.
