IDE Academy envisions a day when every child in Singapore has the chance to follow their natural curiosity, invent creative solutions to problems, and be inspired to change the world. This is the reason we bring invention education alongside the STEM education approach and seek to introduce it to Singapore’s education system.
While STEM education introduces foundational concepts and skills, students who experience invention education develop the capacity to think critically, ideate effectively, and solve problems confidently. Students who kickstart their invention journey from a young age build resilience and empathy, which are especially important values in today’s society.
At IDE Academy, we empower students to invent for good and partner educators to advance invention education across Singapore. We offer a variety of accessible and customisable quality programmes that integrate invention education with STEM education. Our students will use these skills and knowledge to change the way they think and create a sustainable future for the world.

IDE Academy is proud to be the Managing Partner of the Singapore Invention Convention.
The Singapore Invention Convention celebrates STEM education inventors and entrepreneurs from Kindergarten to Post-Secondary. Participants are given the opportunity showcase their brilliant inventions and receive feedback for improvement.
Since 2020, we have broadened our reach to welcome participants from across the region, extending a warm welcome to innovators from countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan!
Deserving participants receive awards, mentorship opportunities with leading experts, and a chance to compete on a global stage. Our young inventors and entrepreneurs have also been featured in the local media and recognised by ministers in Singapore!
